Ask your company documents a question — get a straight answer.

Company Knowledge Assistant
What it is
Every company has answers buried in documents nobody wants to reread — HR policies, contracts, product manuals. This assistant makes them askable. It watches a Drive folder, and whenever a document is added or updated, it reads and indexes it so the knowledge is always current.
Your team then just asks a question in plain language. The assistant finds the relevant passages across every document, and answers from them — and when the answer genuinely isn't in the files, it says so rather than inventing one. It's honest, grounded, and always up to date with whatever is in the folder.
How the flow runs
New or changed documents are re-indexed automatically, so answers always reflect the latest version.
What it handles
- Automatic indexing of every document added or updated in the watched folder.
- Plain-language answers drawn from across all your documents at once.
- Honest limits — when an answer isn't in the files, it says so instead of guessing.
- Always current, because the index updates whenever a document changes.
- Grounded retrieval so answers trace back to real passages, not a model's memory.
Architecture & stack
- Orchestration: n8n Cloud, with Drive triggers on file created and file updated.
- Retrieval: Pinecone vector store; documents chunked and embedded on ingest.
- Reasoning: Gemini for embeddings and for answering from retrieved context.
- Reliability: re-indexing on every change keeps answers in sync with the source documents.
What the client gets
The daily hunt through folders and the 'who knows where that policy is' messages stop. New staff get answers without interrupting anyone, and the knowledge stays accurate because it's read straight from your live documents. Everything runs inside your own Drive.
